Marching on together

This beautiful film was shot last year as Etka Parishad set off on a 13 month journey staging marches and demonstrations in rural communities across 25 Indian states, mobilising people to deliver a message of pro-poor land reform and political change:

On October 2nd (Gandhi's birthday) marchers will begin a month-long march that ends in Delhi in one of the largest non-violent campaigns the world has ever seen. Ekta Parishad, the organisation behind the march claim that political reforms allowing access to land for many of India's rural poor could lift 400 million people out of poverty.
